Do or Die!!

Two days back, five Indian Soldiers were killed in a firing by Pakistani Army on the LOC.  This morning the Agriculture Minister of Bihar, Bhim Singh questions, 'Sena aur police mein log kyun jaate hai? shahadat ke liye na? To kya hua?'   Translation:  Why do people go in army & police, to attain martyrdom right? so what is the big deal?

After the firing, Pakistan in it's usual style denied any firing and blamed it on some 'terrorist' groups.  If they want to refer to their 'Army' as 'Terrorists', seriously I have no problems about it.  But it is when nut headed politicians of India, make such lousy comments about Indian Army that my blood boils.  All that our ruling party did after that attack was to 'Condemn' the attacks.  Soldiers who lost their lives are people who went there to die, according to Bhim Singh.

Recently during the rescue operations at Uttarakhand, one TOI reporter asked a Muslim Indian Army pilot, 'How does it feel to save Hindu pilgrims?' Don't ask me what that reporter was thinking, or if he was thinking at all.  What has religion got to do with Army Jawans?  Do they have any idea what Indian Army believes in and stands for?  While our politicians came in their own jets and did an aerial survey of the situation, as though a fun fare was going on there, it was the Army who saved so many lives there.  Some even lost their lives saving them.

It is such a shame that our Government does not acknowledge the patriotism in our Army Jawans and quietly accepts whatever Pakistan does on the borders.  And as if that was not enough politicians like Bhim Singh who wouldn't have the courage to take an ant sting mocks at the core belief of the Army!!!

  2. I am with you on this, SuKu. Our jawaans are defending the country at the border in some of the most difficult conditions, climatic, health, socially and when something like this happens it only diminshes their work which they are doing it for the safety of all the people including the so called politico leaders. Its such a sad state.

  3. This is totally insane. The guy is out of his wits. I thought only celebrities consider “any kind of publicity is good”. Here dumb politicians are trying to follow their trail. But they forgot it’s not a showbiz & their comments would leave them with hate marks. Yesterday one of my friend had the similar status on FB & people were actually asking him to remove it unless he wants to end-up behind bars..LOL..YES we live in a democratic country!!

  4. It is a shame when politician doesn't acknowledge your army and what it stands for. So sorry to hear about the deaths going on. Those men/women are some of the bravest people out there. It takes strength and determination to become a soldier and I applaud them for what they do.
